Employment Verification Services

Employment VerificationSecuritech provides verifications of current and/or previous employment within the past 7 years. Most employers will only provide the Start Date, End Date and Position of the applicant. 

Note:  More and more employers are utilizing the services of paid employment verification companies; additional fees may be incurred.

Education / Academic Verification

verify employment applicationSecuritech performs verifications of the highest level of education completed, whether a  GED, High School Diploma or College Degree.  We check the institution provided against the U.S. Department of Education Accredited Educational Institutions, Council of Higher Education (CHEA) Database of Institutions and Programs Accredited by Recognized United States Accrediting Organizations, as well as known Diploma Mill lists.

Professional Licensure Verification/Certifications

Securitech provides primary source verification as defined by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration and JCAHO.

Reference Verification

Securitech interviews references provided by your applicant. We ask the references the following questions:

  • What is your association with the applicant?
  • How long have you known the applicant?
  • Can you describe the applicant's ability to get along with management and/or peers (co-workers)?
  • Can you tell me something about the applicant's personality?
  • Can you tell me something about the applicant's work skills and work ethics? (If the association is personal, please describe the applicant's character. i.e. responsible, reliable, honest etc...)
  • In your opinion, in what areas does the applicant require more training or improvement?
  • If you were responsible for the hiring process, would you consider the applicant for employment? Why or why not?
